5777 and the year of Oz

Did you realize that the present Jewish year 5777 is known as the Year of Oz? This is related to the post I did last week on the Jupiter Oz connection (https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1071730309603187&id=519754571467433). This comes from Rabbi Davis (whoever that is).

“We are entering the year of תשעז 5777. There is a little game that some of us play. We take the letters/numbers and form a word that will emphasize the depth of meaning of the New Year. This year, the word found within the number/letters is Ohz (עז). Ohz has many meanings: Seek refuge, to fortify, bring to safety, to dare, to venture to be strong, powerful, courageous, sharp, vigorous, bright (as in color), intense, energetic, firm, and possessing fortitude.” (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/5777-year-oz-rabbi-davis)

He says that the word Ohz (Oz) is found in the number 5777. The first time this word is used is in Exodus 15:2 for strength. “The LORD is my strength (oz) and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.” Ironically this is the Song of Moses and most scholars say that this is the song of Moses in Revelation 15:3.

1  And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 2  And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3  And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

Albert Barnes said this song is “A song of thanksgiving and praise, such as Moses taught the Hebrew people to sing after their deliverance from Egyptian bondage. See Exo. 15. The meaning here is, not that they would sing that identical song, but that, as Moses taught the people to celebrate their deliverance with an appropriate hymn of praise, the redeemed would celebrate their delivery and redemption in a similar manner. There is an obvious propriety here in referring to the “song of Moses,” because the circumstances are very similar; the occasion of the redemption from that formidable anti-Christian power here referred to, had a strong resemblance to the rescue from Egyptian bondage.”

They will sing this song of deliverance that is also the Song of the Lamb. So it’s interesting that they say that Oz is found in these numbers.  But is this the song of Moses and the Lamb that will be sung this year or just the song of Moses? There’s a big difference. Remember how I talked about vibrations and pulses? It’s interesting that its spelled like Ohz. Do you see the hz that represents hertz? A pulse or vibration are in fact hertz (hz) that produce a sound wave. And this is what a song is. A pulse/vibration at a certain frequency. So what does the Year of Oz really mean? We had the year of pulse last year and has it turned into the year of ohz? Will we see this manifest this year where we will need to seek refuge and be fortified (oz) in Jesus? The way things are going I just may think so.
